Welcome to T.S.S.V. Braga, Tilburg’s coolest student speed skating association! Here, you can find a diverse group of international and Dutch students who enjoy speed skating, inline skating, cycling, and running. Some of us are complete beginners and others won national competitions. We also regularly organise non-sports related activities. In short, Braga is the ideal place to meet fellow students and to feel at home.

The beginner training has started, the intermediate/ advanced training will start on 26 October!
Due to problems with the cooling system, the 400 meter rink is closed till 25 October.
The intermediate/ advanced training on Monday evening 19:45 – 20:45 will be canceled 12 and 19 October. We hope to return to the rink on Monday 26 October. Within Braga, people proposed to go to the rink in Breda on those Mondays from 20:15 – 22:00. If you’d like to join, feel free to e-mail us or send a DM! You’ll have to pay for your own ticket.
The beginner training on Monday evening 19:45 – 21:00 at the 30×60 m rink will start from Monday 12 October onwards! As a beginner, you can join and learn how to skate. Make sure to be at the rink 15 to 30 minutes early, in order to rent skates and fit them. Wear warm clothes and bring your gloves, we have a free rental helmet for you!
Practices
We train each Monday evening, in the winter at the Ireen Wüst ice rink and in the summer at the Sports Center (Omniveld). Each student with a Sports Center subscription is welcome, regardless of speed skating skills and experience!
Activities
After each month’s first training, we drink hot chocolate and beer (or eat ice cream). We also organise various activities, like a barbecue, a cycling dinner, and a members’ weekend. Furthermore, you can become a member of one of our committees or read or write for our magazine.
